How to Create Your Serbia eVisa Account — Step by Step
Before you apply for a Visa D, and fill out our form, to work in Serbia, It would be appriciated for you to create an account on the official Serbian government portal — evisa.welcometoserbia.gov.rs. This guide walks you through the exact steps to register, with a full video tutorial and written instructions below.
The process takes approximately 10–15 minutes and requires your valid passport. You only need to do this once — your account remains active for all future applications.

Step-by-Step: How to Create Your Serbia eVisa Account
Follow these steps exactly as shown. Before you start, make sure you have your valid passport and a working email address ready.

Go to the Official Portal
Open your browser and go to the official Serbian government portal for foreign nationals: evisa.welcometoserbia.gov.rs

Click "Register" or "Create Account"
On the homepage, click the Register button in the upper right corner. You will be redirected to the eID registration page at eid.gov.rs. Select "Registration of foreign nationals" from the dropdown menu, then choose "Registration with username and password".

Scan or Upload Your Passport
The system will ask you to scan your passport document. Check the option "I agree to automatically scan the document" and then upload a clear photo or scan of your passport's main information page (the page with your photo). Make sure all text is clearly visible and the image is not blurry.
Disclaimer: The passport upload feature on the eVisa portal has a known technical limitation. Your document may not be accepted on the first attempt — this is normal and does not mean there is a problem with your passport or your photo. As shown in the video tutorial, simply repeat the upload multiple times until the document is successfully accepted by the system.

Fill in Your Personal Information
Complete the registration form with your personal details — full name, date of birth, nationality, and passport number. Make sure all information matches your passport exactly. Any discrepancy may cause your application to be rejected.

Set Your Username & Password
Choose a username and a strong password for your account. Write these down and keep them safe — you will need them every time you log in to check the status of your application or submit new documents. Your password must contain at least 8 characters, including numbers and letters.

Enter Your Email Address
Provide a valid email address you have access to. The Serbian authorities will send all notifications, decisions, and updates regarding your Visa D application to this email address. Use a Gmail or other international email — do not use an email address you cannot regularly access.

Confirm Your Email & Activate Account
Check your email inbox for a confirmation message from the Serbian government portal. Click the activation link inside the email to verify your email address and activate your account. Check your spam folder if you do not receive the email within a few minutes.

Account Created — Share Your Login with HR Bulevar
Once your account is activated, log in to confirm everything works correctly. Then send your username, password and the email address you registered with to the HR Bulevar team via Visa D Form. Our team will use your account to submit your Visa D application on your behalf.

Do I need to create an eVisa account if HR Bulevar is handling my application?
es — you still need your own personal eVisa account. Our team submits your application through your account on your behalf. Without an account, we cannot proceed with your Visa D application. The account is personal and linked to your passport.
What documents do I need to create the account?
ou only need your valid passport and a working email address. No other documents are required at the account registration stage. Additional documents (diploma, face photo, etc.) are collected later when we begin the actual Visa D application.
What is the eDatabox (eSanduče) and do I need it?
The eDatabox is your personal digital mailbox on the Serbian government portal. All official decisions, notices, and updates about your residence permit and Unified Permit application will be delivered to your eDatabox. You access it by logging into your eVisa account.
Can I check the status of my Visa D application online?
Yes — once your application has been submitted, you can check its status at any time by logging into your eVisa account at evisa.welcometoserbia.gov.rs and navigating to "My Requests". The HR Bulevar team also monitors your application and will notify you of any updates.
I cannot complete the registration — what should I do?
